thejetreport: One Month Ago The Talk Was This… Now one team is in the Super Bowl, the other has a chemistry issue, an embattled QB, and a new OC. So much can change in such a short time in the NFL. Especially in New York.
You know… The Jets happen to be wearing the same uniform as a stereotypical Patriot. They have the Paul Revere hat, the coat, everything… Maybe this was a subtle way to say that the Pats will still be in superbowl? Either way, the thought that the Jets would make the superbowl sounds a wee bit out of reach… They have to play the Pats to get there, Brady is better than Sanchez, Belicheck is a better coach than Ryan, and at the end of the day, the best player on the Jets is LT… The Pats have numerous players that can score for them at ease (Hernandez, Welker… Can’t forget about Gronk). No way would this be the case this year at any given point… Maybe the first week of preseason… But other than that… No chance in hell.
On a side note… The Giants will lose this game simply based on the fact that Eli looks like Napoleon, who led the French… and the French don’t win at much of anything… therefore, logic says they lose
UPDATE: Well… Don’t know what to say other than I was wrong… and a new season will start in a couple months…. GO PANTHERS!!!!!
I played hockey all my life (literally since i was 3 or 4) and was a goalie since i was seven. I have given up my dream as a pro hockey player (for some time now) and moved on to bigger, better things in life. I still enjoy playing some puck, but now, my time is pretty much devoted to the Army
